Why do you believe that you deserve this staffing position?:

 

I believe I deserve this staffing position for many reasons. First and foremost, with the time zone differences, I can be on during the morning when there are a short amount of people on. An example of an issue that can happen in the morning that can be an issue that most staff are unable to do on the server due to time differences is, sometimes there are players who are on the server early in the morning to grind some money peacefully without being bothered, or raided. Although if there are new players who get on, and do not understand the jobs and how they work, they possibly would need help from a staff member, if I was a staff I would be able to help them at their own speed due to the fact there are not many players are in the morning, giving me time to help the players instead of telling them to figure it out themselves so I could help another player. This would give the player an impression that there is some staff who are able to help them one-on-one without distractions or disruptions. Secondly, during the morning time, there tend to be players who come on to take advantage of the time, when there are no staff members on, they use this time to either minge, self-supply, rdm, prop-spam, prop-block, etc. If I was a staff member I would be able to let these naughty players know that, even if the server is not popular during the time no one is really on, it is not time to abuse, and break the rules just because staff players are not online, players are trying to grind money and enjoy the quiet time they have before anyone comes on to raid, or RP. Thirdly, I do not see much staff on during times when there are 14-18 players on, and if there are any on, it tends to be one staff member on. If there are about 14-18 players within the server, and one being a staff member, it may become stressful on the staff member who is online, having to take so many tickets, and players becoming stressed out, and inpatient to how long the tickets are being done. If I became a staff, I could help a bit quicker, because I am already awake and not just waking up, as well as, players possibly won’t have to wait as long. I believe I deserve the position as well because I have previous staffing on popular American servers, plus Uk servers, I have skills I know from the past servers and their training that I can pass onto the staff of Orbital to help see things they might have never thought about.

 

Explain your ability to work as a team (Using examples):

 

I’d say that my ability to work as a team with other peers is very well coordinated. In the past, I always gave feedback to other staff on tips I’ve learned to do when I first started staffing. I also make sure I ask questions, if I am unsure of what to do, or if I need assistants I ask for help so I can learn from others and help give myself the opportunity to get to know a person better. I understand my hours may make it difficult to talk to other staff members, or even attend staff meetings, but if staffing was easy, anyone could get it. I am able to talk to other staff to get notes from what was said at the meetings, as well as, I am able to talk to the staff management to find different ways to communicate between different staff members and players.

 

What qualities will you bring to the staff team?:

 

The qualities I will bring to the staff team are among the following: I am open-minded to different ideas, I have the determination to help bring both staff members and players the aid they need to have a well-managed server, by giving them tips, to punishing players who have no intent to roleplay. I am imaginative to different event ideas, along with being a skilled train staff member of popular servers. I also am honest, and trustworthy, unselfish, educated, level-headed, bright, respectful, courteous, and understanding. I am willing to give up free time out of my life to help with the server in any form possible and to bring fun and enjoyment to keep players coming back to a community that listens to their player base and keeps it safe.

The reapply date is upon us, as i mentioned on the last app I think that having someone on for these previously mentioned hours is a great thing. Additionally, your past staffing positions shows great prowess for this type of thing. Your hours are great on the server and I've had nothing but positive interactions with you and think that you have a great knowledge of the rules following no warns.

 

Your activity on discord is also good, you're kind, calm and cooperative and I think these are all traits required by staff. Id like to see you on our team

I'll start off with saying:

HUGE improvement from your last application.. this application has a lot more detail which is great to see.

 

My main point last time was;

Its hard for some staff to get on in the late nights/early mornings due to work/school arrangements..

 

The only issue I see, would be reaching set requirements as a staff member. Obviously being in Australia, our peak sever times are around 5pm to 12pm AEST

Which I believe would be 3am till 11am your time? (you're exactly 12H opposite of Perths time)

When you'll be active - a lot of people wont be..

 

In a sense, this is a good and a bad thing, as you'll be the first person to grab a MRDMer or a prop blocker when majority of the team is asleep, however.

This isn't an everyday occurrence and you may struggle to reach the requirements given to you by the team.

I have spoken to you in-game a fair bit and your knowledge is good, you mean well and I haven't had any bad interactions with you.

You come across friendly yet firmly spoken, you are well known within the community and don't have a single strike against your name.

I've been seeing you regularly on the server and spoken to you a tiny bit. Your game sense and knowledge is good as Tuppy stated but I do advise that you try and help a lot more people. I don't tend to see you talking to the new players and helping them out.

 

I understand you are having your own fun and maybe I'm not online when/if you do it but try and take a little bit of time out of your night to help out that new player!

After reading and comparing this application to your first attempt, I can see you've put a lot more detail into this one which is great, I can't say I've had a lot of interactions with you other than the occasional "hi" and quick chats here and there, regardless of the limited interactions, they have always been positive.

 

I'd like to just address one point about your application that seems to be a big reason in both application. Regarding the time difference as I'm aware you're in America, you won't be receiving too many tickets during the times when most staff members aren't on, as I've been on quite a lot during the 3AM - 5AM time and haven't noticed much activates during those hours. So my only concern is if you will be able to maintain certain requirements as Tuppy as mentioned.

 

However, I do see you helping others out whether it is members of the community or even staff members and that is a good impression on me that you do wish to help out the community, I've never had an issue with you in the past regarding sits or even RP interactions. As long as you can maintain and uphold your positive impact on the community I don't see any reason to not give you a shot at staff and see how you do.

So for now it is going to be a +1 from me.

When people fail their interviews the time after their failure is the most important in my eyes as it lets people see what kind of person you and unlike most you have seem to have a huge amount of resilience when it came to your denial. You still played the server and still kept going despite not getting the rank. This alongside your major application improvements lead me to +1 However while your app frequents your time-zone difference this worries me. We have something called a staff meeting in which staff gather to hear news of the week and everyone ask questions. Now my question is would you be able to make these meeting especially since it would be extremely early in the morning for you. However if My brain is dumb and this is not the case then I have no other problems with you. All in all, I believe that Annie deserves a shot at staffing for her loyalty and activity throughout the server. It is possible that the activity isn't as evident as other players but it is understandable due to the timezone differences. Most people may think it as a disadvantage but as the other feedbacks state Annie's appearance on unlike timing could be handy to take care of late night minges on the server, this is the time that staffs are asleep and unable to come online. In terms of the activity outside of the server, It is very good as far as I had noticed.. she is mainly active on Discord interacting with the community and on the forums as well actively reacting to the feedbacks she is receiving. The application is well detailed as well which shows that you had put your utmost effort into it and genuinely care about receiving the rank. I highly commend your loyalty and your passion to be a part of the staff team. Just be yourself and do your level best on the interview if you were on pending. I wish you the best, Annie!
