I get dragged to a sit with clearly his mate already. I get banned for not adverting crossfire when he was trolling in the middle of a shootout, the bias and friendship between the admin and reporter were obvious so i wasted no time in disconnecting and finding other means to speak to another admin without him being able to see this but apparently thats not a thing. that was honestly a joke @Roberto Any evidence you can provide: N/A (apart from the guy body blocking me and trash talking if requested) Have you become familiar with the rules?: Yes i have read them but i minor thing like adverting crossfire didnt cross my mind at the time. Roberto Posted July 3, 2021 Share Posted July 3, 2021 So here's what happened from my point of view. Your friend received a 12h Weapons BL for an issue involving a rat. I would like to state I do not know the person who reported both incidents (the rat), only that I had dealt with him in a previous sit as stated. Then I had the rat call a sit for RDM, which I took because I had dealt with the previous case. When the sit was first called I got details and he told me it was you, at this point, I saw you also had a ticket open for harassment which I took and brought you in. In the beginning, It seemed like he could have been harassing you but I checked logs and you were fighting with police prior, and then killed him, then had more gunfire exchanged with officers. This is where I thought it may have been crossfire, and so I told you here that you should have "/ad Crossfire" in chat - however, this is not the reason for your punishment. The rat told me this was not the case and that you explicitly chose to shoot at him, and he backed this up with a video he showed me in the general voice channel of the official orbital server (I will try to find this video, but as he streamed it for me I do not have it on hand). In the video it shows him running around OUTSIDE your gang territory, with no "KOS on the surface rule" for rats, so you had no RP reason to kill him. The clip did not include audio however he was speaking as seen from the box in the bottom right. At this point, if he was harassing you, you should have immediately opened a ticket and it would have ended differently, instead, you decided to kill him on the street. This is the reason for which I gave you the punishment, however, you chose to disconnect during the sit, which classifies as LTAP (Leaving to avoid punishment) and it is recommended in the punishment guidelines given to staff that you double punishment, and I believe you also had recent warns which all together lead to you receiving the punishment that you did. Secondly, I am not biased in any way. I do not know the person who reported you, only that we had had a sit prior for another blood member who you have said is your friend. Lastly, I tracked him down on discord, and here is the clip: It shows that you intentionally aimed at him, which is definitely not a crossfire like you tried to claim. As for the body blocking, if he were doing so then it could have been crossfire, but the actual moment of death shows that you reloaded, and then intentionally shot at him. This is not crossfire and is why you were warned. Furthermore, for now, this is all the evidence I have, and I gave out a punishment based on this.
