Stewards play an important role in ensuring the safety of everyone at an event. They are responsible for maintaining order and helping people to enjoy the event safely. Stewards are often seen as the first line of defence in case of any emergency, and they play a vital role in evacuation procedures. Stewards also help to control crowds, direct traffic and provide information to event-goers. In short, stewards are there to make sure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience at an event.

Hello Hurak

While event stewards are important at large gatherings; for example music festivals, sporting events and other recreational activities I find them unsuitable in this context. Here at orbital, instead of stewards we have ‘Event Managers’ certified people, such as admins and other highly trained members of the greater orbital community.

While I am respectfully declining your services, mainly being a British corporation and the certification you provide does not operate outside the domestic system (ie England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland). This means certification gained using your service will not be of value according to Australian state and national laws.

In saying this, I encourage you to apply for Staff if you would like to peruse your vocation of stewardship.

Best of luck in your endeavours

Joe Pesci
