  1. The point would be that, shipments and other items would be treated as valuables, like printers. So you would need to hide them in your bases, rather than run around with them in your pocket all the time. Might be better to just clear pockets on disconnect rather than on death?
  2. Yeah I get that, perhaps clearing pockets on disconnect would be a slightly more balanced option?
  3. No one is asking for them to be removed? Maybe re-read to suggestion. The premise is to preserve the economy of this server, thus preserving the player base.
  4. I do understand and I get the reasoning for doing it. But to be honest, most players don't want to have to come to a forum, apply, wait for a decision, before they can save their builds.

  6. I understand you get it when you become trusted/donator. My suggestion is that, this tool becomes available after a certain server playtime. Preventing this tool from being used by most players, is turning more people away, than what it is protecting.
  7. Obviously if several players decide to place massive bases at the same time, it will cause lag. However, the server rules currently indicate that 'Any ridiculous and oversized bases are disallowed'.
  8. My suggestion is to make this too available to players with a particular playtime on the server, not public.
  9. Damage detector doors are generally considered fading door abuse on most servers, as it allows players to prefire in a way which disadvantages other players.
  10. Maybe the Pro Thief/Thief roles need to be adjusted? The broadcast on most servers is considered OOC, the sound is also generally considered OOC. An alarm system can be implemented through wiremod and other tools, meaning players who invest time in building are more likely to have a secure base.
  11. If implemented properly, the physprop does not cause much lag on servers. The tools generally doesn't work on entities and this should be disallowed for obvious reasons. There is already a prop protection addon on this server, making your point about people throwing them around slightly redundant. Generally what most servers do, is limit the use of this tool, to one prop per player.
  12. You have essentially highlighted one of the same issues I mentioned. "I always see people being tazed for no reason and arrested for no reason or even being RDM'd and they're a constable", meaning that the current system isn't working to start with. I understand the premise for having the role, as I alluded to in my suggestion.

(Map, Addons, Discord, Forums, Other): Addons - SWEP Pimp Slap Details/Information about your suggestion: I suggest making Pimp Slap classed as assault. Getting pimp slapped is one of the most annoying things on this server. This would allow players to interact in an RP fashion, by loading the player who slapped them with 30 rounds of 5.56. How do you think this will benefit the server?: This will improve the quality of life for players, by prevent them from being pimp slapped repeatedly. Would also likely increase RP interactions. Makes it more realistic, if you pimp slapped someone in real life, it would be considered assault and they would likely batter you.

Details/Information about your suggestion: I suggest limiting wiremod gambling machines. In the past, these have been used on other servers and have destroyed their economies, I have witnessed this myself. While yes, I do agree it is fun to have a spin on the machines and there is definatley a place for these in DarkRP, they need to be used in moderation. I don't have an exact idea for how to limit these machines, my thoughts so far include, limiting the number which can be spawn on the server at any point. Limit the spawning of these machines to one role, with only one slot for this role. Limit the areas in which they can be spawned. Staff also need to be able to assess if these machines are rigged or not. It is very easy with wiremod to toggle odds with hotkeys, as the machine is running. I have seen this done on other servers, where the economy was destroyed. Ultimately, these machines cause the same issues in game as they do in real life. The community just needs to be mindful of this and implement controls to protect to continuity of the server. How do you think this will benefit the server?: Protect the servers economy. Prevent players from going bankrupt and losing interest in the server.

Details/Information about your suggestion: I suggest removing the Probationary Police role, as it is mostly isn't useful and often leads to RDM/FailRP, which is what it is trying to prevent. Instead, I suggest that the primary Police role be restricted to a certain playtime on the server, easily done with a hook. While I understand that this is meant to prevent RDA, RDM and a plethora of other offences, players who are determined to do this will still find ways to do it. Currently, all this process is doing, is limiting new and some existing players from effectively RPing as police. I understand that there is a ranking system higher in the police roles, this is fine for those who want to be involved in this, but i guarantee most don't want to be involved. After all, this is DarkRP not SWAT/Police/Corporation RP. I also highly doubt that the current training for police is preventing any rules from being broken. It is also the players own responsibility to read, understand and follow the server rules, just like with every other job. How do you think this will benefit the server?: This would improve the quality of RP by removing a role which has a very limited place in RP situations (people could still /job Police Cadet ect.). This would improve the experience for players who are invested enough in the server to stay for the time frame set. This will allow more people to become police, which are vital in the DarkRP community, to regulate a number of things, including the economy.
