Since SUP went down, I have been looking for a new community to be a part of, and have found this one. I believe that I deserve Trusted because I am an active member of the community, and do my best to abide by the server rules, and will continue to do so. If I was Trusted, I believe that I would set a good example for new (and old!) members of the community. During my two days of playtime I have also done my best to help anyone with questions in OOC, and new members of the community, by helping them with the basics/mechanics of Dark RP, and server rules that they don't even know they are breaking. Explain how you can help the community with your Trusted rank? With the Trusted rank, I will continue to set a good example for the community, and continue to help lost players or anyone who needs help. (And if this counts) I really enjoy building bases, and anything with Wiremod, If I were to get Trusted I would be able to help people with more advanced things like 1-way damage windows or making their own gambling machines and other logic if need be. Are you familiar with our rules and guidelines? Yes, I have read them multiple times and would do so again for the trusted jobs if I were to get the position. Do you agree to not abuse any powers that are given to you with this rank? Yes. I agree not to abuse the influence of my role, or any of the tools that come with it. Do you agree that your rank will be stripped completely if misused?: Absolutely, I understand that the Trusted rank is a privilege, and fully understand the consequences of my actions, I accept that my rank would be stripped if I were to abuse it.
  3. "You're only allowed melee weapons or weapons salvaged from dumpsters" Doesn't say anything about no firearms, just that you cant use weapons other than ones found from dumpsters unless its a knife that you already had
  4. before u even commented, one of my ideas was to allow them to get basic firearms from the bins
  5. IMO what you said does make sense, so I changed the number of hobos to mug to depend on if one has a firearm. Also, with the meth thing, its almost impossible to sell it to players because 1, People are hardly interested in buying it in the first place, and 2, people will run up or chase you and use the whole bag

(Discord, Forums, Other): In-game/Job improvement Details/Information about your suggestion: -Allow hobo to sell meth baggies they find in dumpsters, allowing for some money to be made -Allow hobo king to rob people with one more hobo instead of two if the hobos have a gun -Add guns to the dumpster loot pool How do you think this will benefit the community?: I know hobo is not meant to be a serious job and is a meme to play as, but I feel there could be some improvements that could be made. -First of all, being able to sell the meth bags would allow for some sort of profit, because atm you may as well just snort the whole bag to get to the next dumpster, otherwise other people will steal them as you carry or move them. -Reducing the number of hobos required to rob would be a nice QOL improvement, as normally there are hardly any hobos playing anyways, this would also make sense as the hobos would appear more threatening -Adding guns to the hobo barrels would give a nice alternative to just cardboard knives, atm there is no point in searching the bins for anything except a knife, which is pretty useless vs anyone who has a gun anyways Links: -

The original post I'm expanding off: -https://forums.orbitalservers.gg/threads/limit-gambling-machines-wiremod.696/#post-4093 Details/Information about your suggestion: Limit the number of gambling machines in the streets. This could be done multiple ways, the main way I propose would be to add another job which would work like the nightclub manager. These jobs could be the casino employee/casino manager, there would be around 3-5 slots available for this job, which would allow players to use gambling machines and other casino-related stuff, limited to 1 or 2 per player. Here are some benefits to limiting the amount of gambling machines: -By limiting the number of machines, we would help reduce lag, especially right out of spawn. -This would also free up the buildings around the spawn/PD area, allowing for gun dealers and other jobs to make shops in the populated areas of the town, rather than getting pushed to more obscure buildings. This would also help to make these jobs more appealing, as they would get more activity. -Because of the reason above, shops would be more open, reducing the clutter of ppl just standing in the middle of the streets, which are usually gathered around the gambling machines, which can make RP more difficult in some situations. Side effects to having a casino: -Because the casino would have all the gambling machines (which hold money), this would become a rewarding, but difficult raid target such as the bank, this gives gangs a rewarding alternative to ganging up on smaller individual raid targets, which yield low reward when split among multiple gang members. -Because of the above, this would also give more reason for hireable jobs such as security guards, PMC, and the law. Sidenote: I would probably just have a casino employee job, which would be able to use and place gambling machines. But if you wanted to add a casino manager, you could allow just the manager to build defense and hire protection (from PMC and guards) they could require rent or a one-time payment from the employees which would help make themselves some money.
  8. +1 Also, it's faster to use r or e to change what plane the prop will stack on, rather than going into the settings of the tool and changing it that way. Cuts down what can take around 5 seconds to almost literally nothing.
